Areas of Interest Optional - Some positions only relate to campaign time, others between campaigns. National Day of Door Knocking Fundraising – send letters, emails, call, meet, and follow up with potential donors. Phone Canvassing – calling to identify vote, engage in conversations, and answer questions. Office Work – provide advice, write letters, keep office tidy. Door Canvassing – knock on riding doors during elections, answer questions, confirm vote, recruit volunteers, distribute pamphlets. Community Special Events . Hats Off Days, Parkgate Days etc. Signage – set up signs, replace damaged signs, remove signs after election. Election Day Driver – provide rides to voters and help feed volunteers at polling stations. Election Day Phoner – phone and remind voters it is election day and offer a ride. Election Day Scrutineer – record vote and voter number (for advanced polls as well). Election Day Food Service – help make/bag dozens of lunches/dinners for volunteers. Clean Up – during and after the election people are needed to help clean up the office. Communications – create content, decipher information, identify voter issues, and keep records.
