Quebec Policy Convention

From Sept 7th to 9th five of our Board Members attended the Conservative National Policy Convention in Quebec City. Our group was lead by the fantastic work of Dr. Iain Provan the chair of the Policy committee. You can review our Policy Proposals centred on the theme of Protection. This includes Clean Air and Climate, Clean Water and Land, and Biodiversity all wrapped in a framework that is easy to communicate on the campaign trail.

With 338 Electoral Districts (ridings) in the country, after local, and regional voting, and substantial support for other ridings, 3 proposals initiated by our Burnaby North - Seymour policy committee got accepted including, most crucially our Environmental Frame work proposal.

Iain was able to marshal outstanding support from several other EDA’s including Foot Hills, Calgary Signal Hill, Skeena–Bulkley Valley, and Peterborough-Kawartha.

Congratulations Team!
